Thank you for taking a few minutes to review my profile page.

I am a student-athlete in my senior year at Clyde A. Erwin High School.  During the current 2015 basketball season, I have maintained a 3.87 GPA in honors and college coursework.

I am privileged to be a part of and captain of the Erwin Warrior’s varsity basketball team.  We had an undefeated regular season last year for the first time in the schools history.  We are currently the number two seed going into the state playoffs!

I am the starting center and power forward for our team.  As of February 5, 2015, I am the leading rebounder averaging 9.3 RPG, the leader in charges taken, the second leading scorer averaging 15.2 PPG with a 64% FGP, and second in blocked shots, according to MaxPreps Stat Leader Boards reporting for 2015 post position players.

I have played basketball since the second grade in youth league, middle school, high school, YBOA and AAU. I didn't make my middle school team in the seventh grade; but instead of giving up, I worked like crazy in the gym and made my eighth grade team as a starter.  I also have the advantage of being coached by my dad for the past five years on my AAU team, the Asheville Gators.  In 2011, we came in second in the state playoffs in YBOA.  In 2012, we came in fifth in the DIII AAU state championship and last summer we finished eleventh in the DII AAU state championship tournament.   We focus primarily on showcase tournaments and Nike Memorial like events that will place me in front of as many college coaches as possible.

I have focused my entire athletic career on one sport – basketball!  Basketball is my passion and I am always striving to improve my skills.  I attend a minimum of two skill building/shooting camps each year in addition to my regular school and AAU seasons to strengthen my talents and improve my abilities.

My immediate, short term goal is to maintain my current GPA and focus my attention on winning the state championship. My graduation goal is to play college basketball with a full, merited scholarship while earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My ultimate dream is to play professional basketball.

I give 150% on and off the court.  I am a dedicated student, well rounded offensive player and a driven defender in the paint!
