Personal Statement
I hope to play basketball on a D1 level and hopefully some day play in the NBA. I have played basketball since I was 5 years old. I have the ability to play all 5 positions on the court. I grew up playing point guard until the last couple of years due to my height. I am now 6'5" with a very high basketball IQ. I strive to be the best team mate that I can be, by encouraging my teammates. I have been told I have natural leadership abilities and a propensity to protect others. While basketball is my desire my highest priority is my relationship with Christ who gives me strength and the ability to play the game that I love. My greatest excitement for me on the basketball court is when I get an assist to help one of my teammates score. I strive very hard to have at least 5 assists a game. I believe the game of basketball is not all about me scoring but making the players around me better and doing the little things to help my team win.
My goals from an academic standpoint is to do something in Engineering or business. I want to either on my own business some day or build something. I maybe would like to be an architect as I like to draw and see how things are built.
