Brett Swilling '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college basketball and earn a college degree.  I can add value to my team by demonstrating leadership on and off the court.  I have worked on my basketball skills and academics for 14 years.   My character, athletic ability, academic accomplishments, and skill separate me from my peers.  I have guard skills at 6'6.  My ball handling, shooting and athleticism are strong attributes.  I am projected to grow to 6'9.  I am currently a Senior.  I have received interest from multiple schools due to my academic and athletic accomplishments.  I have had the experience of being able to play all 5 positions.  I currently play the SG through Center position. My Primary position is Small Forward. By me being able to run a 4.48 40 yard dash and being able to have a 36 inch vertical, I am able to play above the rim, beat people in transition, beat people off the dribble, rebound the ball, and keep people from getting to the basket and keep them from scoring. I've been dunking since 7th grade so playing above the rim isn't difficult for me. I have had several cousins to play in either the NFL or NBA and currently have one playing in the NFL. I am motivated to to bring their same Professional intensity and better onto the court. I want to grow up being just like them and even better. Where ever I go, I'll give you 100 percent on defense and offense. I will also give you 100 percent off the court and in the classroom. I am a lock down defender and a really great scorer. Overall I will leave great legacy on the court and off the court wherever I go.
