Personal Statement
Before I perform on the court, I perform in my classroom. I committed to keeping a gpa of around a 3.4 and above in my goal of attending and completing my years in college, providing myself with every opportunity to succeed in playing college basketball and succeed in life. I am a good candidate because I have always held myself to a standard of pushing myself to the brink of exhaustion in hopes of making not only myself, but my team better as well. I am leader on the court, I try my best to provide my team with everything we need to accomplish our objectives, I do not carry adversity but prosperity;lastly I absorb and appreciate coach criticism because it assists me in becoming a better ball player. I believe that what makes me different is that I am a true student of the game, I work hard, I bring a type of swagger to the court, I look for ways to improve myself as a ball player and as a person everyday, and I succeed in my studies.
