Personal Statement

My name is Marcus McLean I have a desire to play basketball.  I can handle the ball with great speed and control at both ends of the court. I am an off the dribble shooter, can move without the ball, 50% from the field, average 21.0 a game.  I was selected as best offense player my freshman year and all conference my sophomore junior year.  Stats can be viewed on Maxpreps and Berecruited.  I am a well-rounded player on the court and in the class room. I am NCAA registered #1303220857. I Plan to major in Criminal Justice or Business Management. I am a respectful young man, love God, people and the game.  I am about 6'0 weight 175 looking to gain more before the season ends. I'm a senior, at South Granville High, Creedmoor, NC graduation year 2014. I am a starter for the Vikings; Coach Jake Wohlfeil. Trained by Anthony Porter under the direction of Mitch Lancaster "I'm Impossible Training" summer 2013. Played AAU basketball for Mid-State Magic and WCBA, (Placed 2nd in Nationals) playing with Garner Road Bull Dogs, featured in "The Best Players of AAU Edition 2013".  What makes me different from any other recruits in character, athletics and academics? I will not back down from a challenge, enjoy competing at intense levels and giving up is not an option.

The video touch basis with only a small portion of the training that the players endured. I am shown in the video demonstrating a shot off the jump after being set up by the post.
