Personal Statement
My passion for the game of basketball is unmatched. I push myself to get up every morning at 5:30 to put in work at the gym and in the weight room. I promise to have a work ethic like never before on the court, and in the classroom. I will do any and everything to make my teammates better and to make sure that the team gets the win. I am a natural explosive two-way scorer, and I can and will put points on the board. I will ALWAYS play my heart out every single possession. If for some reason I, or my team makes a mistake, I will take full responsibility for it as a leader, and think and emphasize "NEXT PLAY". I have always dreamed of playing college basketball ever since I was a young boy. I made the decision my freshman year, that chasing my goal of playing basketball would be my priority second to God, my family and my education. I feel that my ability to be coachable, and my willingness to learn is what separates me from other players. I made a promise to myself, that I would do whatever was necessary for me to accomplish my goals. I made up in my mind, that no matter who the person that I was competing against, they would never outwork me in anything. I was going to outwork everyone. I was going to put in triple the amount of time that they would. Every shot, every dribble, every sprint, every defensive slide, every possession matters to me. No matter the pain, or consequences I am willing to do everything, and anything that it takes to get what needs to get accomplished, DONE! I'm ready to work coach!
