As a student athlete, I Cal Bosard, know that being an excellent student athlete is something that is not easily accomplished or to be taken lightly. I know that in order to achieve athletic goals on the courts, you have to work extremely hard at all times on and off the court and whenever possible so you can improve. Sometimes that means sacrifices that are not always the most entertaining to make but I am willing to work for my goals of becoming a collegiate level athlete at all times necessary. Academics is also something that is not taken lightly by me so maintaining a 3.8/4.0 GPA is something I strive to keep at all times. Showing leadership is a major key in being a good student athlete and it helps with everything on and off the court. Even as my role varies on the teams I am participating for leadership is something I try to keep showing at all times whenever possible. All of these things I believe will show how I separate from others athletically, academically, and even through quality characteristics.
