Personal Statement

Hello Coach,

My name is Liam Kunkel.  I'm a student-athlete that is looking to play college basketball at a high level. I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the court. I pride myself not only on being a a prolific scorer from all spaces on the court and a strong on ball and help defender but on being a tireless worker. This past season I was team captain and responsible for running the offense and calling switches and plays on defense. I've never taken a day off or a play off. In addition to my AAU and school workouts and practices, I train twice a week and always have a ball in my hands with the goal of doing something every day to improve my game. I take school very seriously and hope to study business in college. My parents have been a great source of support ever since I started playing in the 2nd grade and have instilled in me a desire to be the best I can be in whatever I do.
