Roland Whitley III '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach
I want to thank you for taking the time to review my profile and consider me as a potential recruit.  As my profile provides, I am enjoying my high school as a student/athletic.  Academically, I have excelled in the classroom and enjoy learning.  All my techers speak highly of my progress and most of all have documented my success.  I believe in education and understand that there is life after sports.  My desire is to study meterology as a potenial major, which aligns with my joy of math.  Yeah, there are a lot of math models behind the weather person speaking and I feel ready for the challenge to track our weather systems and global patterns of the atmosphere.
 
Athletically, I have been blessed to have the ability to continue to particiapte in the sport that I enjoy.  Even though I understand at some point in my career my athletic talent will allow me to earn a job, I still train, work and compete hard because I love what I do. I could provide you with a list of my athletic awards from my years of AAU and High School competitions; however, you can goggle, Roland WHitley III Basketball, to learn of my accomplishments. I want you to know that I enjoy winning, believe in the team, and will get the job done. 
As a guard, I have have the opportunity to lead the team at the point guard and win games at the schooting guard. Either way, I can get to any where on the floor that I want at any time that I want. I can score the ball while making my teammates better.  I never feel that I can't continue to learn and my coaches continue to teach.

Lastly, I have grown to become a well-round young adult with family as my center and supporting friends.  My hobbies are helping others that are less fortunate and being a kid.
