Basketball is my passion. I have been playing this sport since I was in first grade. Whether I'm making an assist, crashing the boards, picking a steal, playing defense,or taking a shot, this sport is awesome. I have plans of going to college to play basketball. For me to accomplish these goals, I need to prioritize first. God comes in first place. I need to follow Him if I want to be successful. Following Him will help me make the right decisions and keep me out of trouble. This will help my character and attitude towards everyone around me. Academics is the second important thing that I need to accomplish my goals. I'm going to college to get my degree. That is the main reason why I will attend college. I want to have a great career. I will do my best in my studies, attend every class, do all my assignments, and will be honest. I will put studies in front of fun. To play collegiate basketball, I will need to do my best athletically. I will work hard in every tryout. I will work hard to discipline my body and mind. When I make the team, I will work hard in practice every day, whether it be on the court, or in the weight room. I will listen to my coaches for instruction. I will work hard and push through pain, discomfort, failure, and struggle. I will be a good teammate, and respect everyone around me. I will live to honor God, my family, my coaches, and my school. This is how I will accomplish my goals of going to college and playing basketball.
