My name is Chandler Osamede Oriakhi; Class of 2017. 6’10, 235lb PF/C. Wingspan 7’2” and a 9’ reach. . I am a late bloomer, so my basketball resuming is not very tantalizing especially early on. Knowing this I worked on a lot of skills and work a little extra than the “early maturers”. The big drawback here is with the age of early discovering of talents increasingly getting lowered each year, I have been grossly overlooked. However, there have been some interest from some division one schools and some Junior colleges which I will be visiting shortly. I just need a place to plant this seed (me) water it and let it grow. My short term goal is to get to a program with great emphasis on overall athletic and academic development. My long term goal is to become a professional and a trainer/sport educator/manager.
Basketball is fun to me so putting in the extra work will be no problem. My parents have always emphasized the value of education, with good guidance I will reach my academic goals seamlessly.
I am looking for a program that will enable reach my full potential and goal
Thanks to everyone. I will be playing at Pierce College Lakewood Washington. I am looking forward to a great season
