Personal Statement

Division I-AA, NEC Champion, Wagner College Freshman, looking to tranfer to a strong academic school with the right athletic fit. After much thought, my 1st passion is basketball, and would like to pursue this goal at my final college selection and destination

  • Recognized scholar athlete at Wagner, 3.66 cum
  • 6' 4"  220 lb. Small Forward, skilled ball handling, consistent shooting, and strong rebounding are my strengths. Also a pass-first distributor. 88% foul shooter
  • 3 Year Captain, motivator and leader HS Hoops Team, 2 Year Captain HS football team
  • Honored with the Buckley Award 2012, in HS, presented to one athlete for exceptional athletic performance, leadership, and individual & team attitude
  • Completed over 30 hours of community service for the victims of Hurricaine Sandy, while attending Wagner in Staten Island NY
  •  reprimanded by Wagner coaches for playing too much pick up basketball. (Fearing I would injure myself) Also able to shoot on a daily basis (this has been a part of my daily routine since kindergarten)

I am currently in excellent shape, very strong, as I have just spent 6 months physically training at the Division I football level. Even with a tough football schedule (5:40 am training) 15 hour days, I maintained a high GPA, volunteered for community service, and kept my basketball skills sharpBasketball has always been my passion. Please contact me for tryouts, practices, showcases, or additional imformation.
