Ben Langen '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ben Langen. Right now I am 5'10 and weigh 167 lbs. I will offer your program dedication, leadership, confidence and hard work. I am very coachable. Most coaches would write me off because I am undersized, but i back that up with athleticism, a high skill set, and i have a big heart. I am known as a big leaper, and I'm also quick to the ball and make plays happen. I love when people tell me I can't do something, just so i can prove them wrong. I'm unselfish and love to set my teammates up, and i can make plays happen for myself as well. I have a burning desire to make my dreams come true and achieve my goals, and the confidence to do so. I am in the gym all the time and working on my game every day because I want to be the best at what I do. No one has ever handed me anything, so everything I have I earned.

I'm currently undecided about a major, but I am looking for a Mid or Lower level D1 school, that can offer a good education, scholarship money, and basketball program that will help me grow and prepare myself for the future. I am willing to keep my options open to higher level DII schools as well.

I am currently ranked 9th in the state of Ohio for the class of 2014 by ScoutsFoccus. I have been chosen to be in the "Best Players of AAU Book" for the 2013 season. I have been invited to play in Europe to represent the USA in the 2014 United World Games for North American Prospects. My current goals are to compete at the highest level attainable, be my conference Player of The Year, and be the man on my high school team and tear up my senior year!
