Personal Statement
I haven't had the easiest journey during my basketball career; and, it humbled me. The fact that I had to scratch, rip, and tear my way to be where I am today contributes to my tenacious work ethic. On the court, I focus and display the intangibles that puts my team in the best position to win especially as a point guard. As a scrawny, 150-pound freshman in high school, my coach saw the drive that I had ever since I started playing competitively. From that point forward, I started every game my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year. Off the court, I keep my grades in check due to how discipline I am. Since elementary school, I haven't missed a day of school and I have maintained a high GPA. Ultimately, I want the love and work I put into this game to create avenues that will lead me to absolute happiness.
