Jamey Woods '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the Best Person I can be. I am aiming to be a Successful Basketball Player at all Levels. I want to be a Positive role model and Leader on and off the court. My Idols are Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose, because my game on the court is very similar to the both of them but more similar to Carmelo Anthony's. Derrick Rose is also my idol because of his demeanor on the court and off the court. I have always been a leader and also a student athlete. Grades are always my first priority but basketball is my heart. When im on the court i want to be the best on the floor at all times. I never accept the fact of someone being better than me, and when i feel that someone can be better it makes me that much better because i work ten times harder. I work on my game dailly so no one has the opportunity to have a better jump shot than me or anything on the court. Im also the exact same way in the classroom. I never accept someone to be smarter than me. I am very competitive. I am always one of the top players in assist on every team because i feel like if my team is getting touches how they want, it makes the team more comfortable together which makes the team a lot better.
