Hi, this is Carson (Jamesion) Meier, I am a 6'5", 185 lb Senior, multi-sport Team Oriented Athlete from Shawnee High School (5A) in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I have lettered and participated in Basketball, Track and Baseball, and have chosen to concentrate on Basketball (Adidas-Oklahoma Power & HS Ball) and Track (HS) for the remainder of my high school years. I was named 2017 "Basketball player of the Year" by All-Star Preps in Oklahoma.
I have a 3.9 grade average, National Honor Society Member and I am committed to Academics as well as Team Athletics. My goal for college is to secure a solid education, thru hard work and dedication, in my field of interest/study of Sports Medicine or Sports related business. I am Enrolled in the NCAA eligibility program my ID# is 1605488035, and am taking(or have already taken) Pre-AP and AP classes, there will not be an issue with meeting the eligibility requirements.
I am dedicated to what I challenge myself to do. ALWAYS. I practice everyday Highschool (Club-twice a week), I shoot 500 to 1,000 shots per day on my shoot-a-way machine, I do strength/agility training 2-3 times a week with a former Division I Athlete/Strength Coach, who also played on World Champion basketball teams after his college career. I do all of this without having to be told to do it. Discipline is what accomplishes this and Academics/Athletics require this.
My Freshman year I took 3rd in the 5A State Track Championships in the 4x800 relay with a personal record time of 2:04 for my portion of the 800 race. We finished in the top 3 in all of our events in 2015. I did not run Track my Soph. year.
2017: REGIONALS - Ran in 1st meet (REGIONALS) and took 3rd place. Qualified for State in the 800 OPEN Run ranked 3rd in State Overall and Qualified for State in the 4x800 Relay with a personal time of 1:59 for the 5A State Championship to be run 512 & 5/13 of May 2017. Basketball conflicted with the other track meet events, prior to regionals....
2017: STATE - Ran in 2nd meet (STATE) and took 2nd place. I was Runner-up in the STATE Track Meet the 4x800(3200m) relay with a personal time of 1:58 - and only Ran at only two track meets that didn't interfere with AAU basketball!
Currently, The club team I am playing for is Adidas-Oklahoma Power, 3D-Athletes of OKC, and prior to that the only Nike/Jordan Sponsored EYBL Team for Oklahoma - Team Griffin / Athletes First.
