2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Hello, my name is Clark Pepper. I am from Stillwater, Oklahoma, and my graduating class is 2025. My goal is to be a collegiate student-athlete. Although the ultimate goal is to continue playing after college in some capacity, my main hope is to earn a degree and work in that field after graduating. I am a defense-minded combo guard with a good solid frame and good court awareness, especially defensively. Finishing through contact is a strength of mine. I train almost daily on the court or in the weight room, and I've had a personal trainer since I was in the 4th grade. I love being part of a team and I believe I can fit in and contribute to any system. When my number is called I will give you everything I've got.
Family is very important to me and I am knowledgeable of my Native American customs and culture. Taking part in those traditions has helped shape me into the person I am today.

- I have worked out with Coach McFarlin for 5+ years. He's a former NBA player and is familiar with the training and recruiting aspects of basketball. We have worked on guard play, cone drills, shooting drills, ball handling, conditioning, defensive drills, and my free throws have greatly improved recently. Being a former NBA post player, Coach McFarlin has emphasized the importance of rebounding, even as a guard. Therefore, we have worked for years on rebounding, boxing out, and post play to post other guards.

- Coach Godwin is a shooting coach that I have worked with for a year now. We work on form, catch and shoot, shooting off of screens, mid-range and three point, free throws, and using the shooting gun.
