Personal Statement

Basketball has helped me grow and flourish in more ways then I could have possibly imagined. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for it's influence.  Because of this, I have a tremendous desire to play basketball at the collegiate level. I hope to use basketball as a stepping stone in pursuing a career in the Sports Medicine field.

At a young age,  I quickly learned that in order to be successful, you have to be willing to venture where others won't. Hard work, sacrifice, and determination are all attributes that I consider to be an integral part of who I am. Whether it comes to my rigorous training schedule or my work in the classroom the effort and determination is the same.

Being an Eagle Scout has helped me realize the importance of being a leader not only on the court, but off the court as well. Knowing what it takes to succeed as a group is something that I have learned and taken great pride. My experiences and lessons I've learned off the court have greatly benefited my growth not only as a basketball player, but as the person I am today.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
