Personal Statement
I am a current freshman at IIT Chicago looking for another program to transfer to. I can fill out a self-release to begin a dialogue and I will have 4 years of eligibility remaining after I transfer in the fall of 2019 which is why I am essentially being recruited as a high school senior. I am looking for a High academic program that I would be able to impact. I would be successful in any college program because I know my weaknesses and I am relentless in my pursuit of perfection. Every summer I improve on something and I am especially excited about the end product that I will become this year because I have a full year to work on my vertical jump, agility, and strength in order to complement my skill set. My daily routine includes 300 made game shots and ball handling routines and I have recently added plyometrics and strength workouts 3 times a week and am seeing improvements in my athleticism weekly. My motivation is to get in the best shape of my life and work on my biggest weaknesses while being the best student I can be. I believe that by the time I enter campus I will be able to showcase what I've been working on every day for a year. In terms of my academics, I plan to finish out my year at Illinois tech and I currently hold a 4.0 GPA as a biology major on the pre-med pathway. Seeing that the transfer process is extremely competitive I plan on retaking the SAT and improving my score towards the mid-1500's from my already strong score so I believe that I will be a strong applicant in the transfer process. Coaches who are interested may contact my current college coach, Todd kelly of Illinois tech who I have explained my circumstances to or JS Nash of Oregon Basketball Club who has been my AAU coach since 7th grade to know more about my game. I also plan on attending various showcases throughout the year and I will be posting footage from those showcases. I will also be playing in a showcase in two weeks.
