Personal Statement

I wanted to be a trend setter for my family, that is one of my goals in life. Where I come from people don't really make it out of the neighborhood and drop out of high school early. I want to be the first of my family to go to college and complete college. I want to be an inspiration for my little brother, so he can stay on the right path but also create a path of his own. It's not just about me my goal is to help my mother and father later on in life at least half as much as they have helped me. I work hard because of all these things they motivate me to be the best person I can be and work hard in the classroom or on the basketball court. Theres a quote I go by that the famous Kevin Durant said "Hard work, beats talent when talent fails to work hard." I refuse to be the person who does not work hard.

Academic Accomplishments

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. The honor class is advanced Spanish topics and at the current school that I go to they don't have "honors" classes, but if they did this would go down as one.
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. The class I take now is AP environmental it's a college based course. This course gives us as students a lot of independence and responsibility to get our work done and do it well. To stay in the class the student must obtain a B average or higher.

Yes

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
