Personal Statement

I am Peyton Brown, born and raised in rural Pennsylvania attending one of the smallest public school districts in the state. I have always had a love for basketball and a camaraderie with those who share my passion. While my hometown colors may be blue and white, I have friends from many places sporting a rainbow of colors.  Each gym houses worthy opponents and potential friends. My play earns respect for my athletic talents and gifts, while my personality and behavior earn respect for me. I enjoy inspiring other young athletes while playing at the local courts, helping with elementary teams, and coaching at local camps. I live by the motto:

Good players inspire themselves; great players inspire others.

Though my exposure may have been limited, my impact will be boundless.

Yours in basketball,

Peyton

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
