Personal Statement

Basketball has always been my go-to, not only for sports but for therapy as well. It has shaped me into the person I am today. Over the past year, I had to transition from a different school to be able to have a shot at playing basketball because of the current pandemic in our country. Everything worked out for me and in the end, I and my team made the South Dakota state tournament. It was a very good experience for me as a player, helping me prepare mentally for my senior year. I will step into the role of being a leader to try and make another appearance in the state tournament again.
