Kylan Haywood '20 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a passion of mine ever since I first touched a basketball.  If basketball wasn’t invented, I don’t know what I would be doing.   My coaches tell me that my best assets are my high basketball IQ, rebounding, pushing the ball up the court, scoring, and passing to an open player.   At 6’7, I have been told, that I can play from the point to center. This year I lead my team in 3 points shooting percentage, assist, and rebounds.  Also, I was selected to the All Region Team,  All State Tournament Team, and Dr. JL Perry Award of Excellence during my high school journey.

My goal is to play for a college team and win national championships by contributing my defensive presence, hustle, leadership, and team ball. I am a leader on and off the court. I have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher.  I am active and volunteer in my church and school community. I am currently a member of The Beta Club & National Honor Society.

My desire is to attend a college that will develop me to become a better student-athlete. My goal is to become a mentor and make my family proud.
