Hello, my name is Toby Marek, I am a Senior at Austin Waldorf School in Texas class of 2017. My sophomore year I led my team to the State Final Four in which we went 29-7, but what I took away the most from that season was the fact that my team came up short. I did not want to expierence that feeling of defeat again and kept that memory in my mind in order to push me during the summer leading into the next season. That next year I was able to lead my team to a State Championship, the first in our schools history.
I am a very self motivated person who really enjoys competition and who understands the importance of doing well in the classroom. Some of my goals for college are to graduate with a degree while helping my team in whatever way needed.
