Dear Prospective Coaches,
Here I am in my senior year. I suppose I should say something spectacular about myself to get your attention here. I am afraid that all I can say is that I am just another kid that loves the game and not necessarily trying to become famous, but more so just trying my best to be a good person, athlete and scholor. I've had my ups and downs in life so far, yet I will never let that get me down or change who I want to be when I tackle the world on my own. I love my family no matter how perfect or imperfect they can be. I know that whatever I become is entirely up to me. I want to make my mother and father proud, but most importantly I want to be proud of myself. So when I go out in the world I can bring some integrity and honor back into it.
I want to get into a good school because I have witnessed through my mother, father and brothers that without a good education every thing in life presents its self as a battle. Just for basic food or lights or even a constant place to call home. I want to be the one that doesnt give up and accept defeat. Hopefully, I can be the one that changes this family tree to the better and be a provider. A father that can have the time to be there for his kids and not always juggling bills and jobs. I am proud of the father and mother I was blessed with. They are always there for support. No matter all the struggles and stuff they have been through at the end of the day I know that they always want the best for me and always make me feel loved.
I'm a senior this year and very late on getting out there to colleges. It has been something I know I have dropped the ball on here, but I genuinely believe one of you guys will realize I am worth it, and going to college wont be something I would take for granted and would actually I believe, will put the breath back into my motivation for my success.
If you watch all my videos you will see I have so much more to offer that I admit I don't utilize all of my experience on the court that could be. I feel that in college I will have more focused time to truly become the scholar and athlete I know I am capable of being.
So, I hope this helps you to somewhat understand what I am all about and my intentions. Even I myself am still figuring all that out. Looking forward to hearing something and praying it's not too late for me here.
Sincerely and God Bless,
Zachary McGee
