My goals for college are to graduate with honors and to contribute to an athletic program that can assist me in furthering my life building skills. I feel like I would make a good candidate because I am a dedicated, hard working, leader, and a team player with a positive attitude. I play both basketball and football. I have fun on the court and the field, I have knowledge of the game and I will trust my coach. It's not for me to judge what makes me different, but it has always been said that I am. I feel that I'm blessed to have the ability to play sports. It is a passion for me and I have been fortunate to be able to play and be athletic. It has been said of me that I immediately mature the minute I step into the game.
My academics are the most important to me. I know to succeed in the world, I have to to succeed in the classroom. I am diligent to study, diligent to take my work seriously and it is important to me that I excel in this area. I have strived to maintain a 4.0 because excellence is important to me in academics.
I base my character on my faith in God and my family. My relationship with both define me and my actions. In all areas of my life I try to be honoring to God and my parents. If I can be kind and treat people with the respect they deserve, I will continually find myself in the right place. I want to be a person with upright character and have values that will speak volumes of me.
