David Washington '15 Recruiting Profile

God comes first and foremost because without Him, I am nothing. I aspire to play at the next level, and to find a school where I can grow as a basketball player, and to pursue a degree in engineering. I am a good scorer inside and out, but pride myself on the defensive end. At 6'5, I can be put at the top of a 1-3-1 zone, where I use my quick feet, and long arms to affect the passing lanes. I am also an enforcer when it comes to rebounds, and have great touch when blocking shots.

Off the court, I maintain A and B averages in honors courses. I also have volunteered at my school during kids' camps, and have youth- leadership skills that I've gained from my church. I am pursuing a dream that will allow me to continue playing the sport I love, and in doing so become a better student- athlete.
