Personal Statement

My name is Dion D’Angelo Mack; at this present time I am a 5’10”, 185 lb. point guard that plays for the #1 NJCAA ranked Trinity Valley Cardinals. This season we went undefeated in conference with a record of 19-0 to clinch the Conference Championship. I am looking for a university where I can continue to excel in the classroom and have an early impact on the court and play 94ft of intense basketball. My parents always tell me to stay committed and work hard on the things that are in my control my work ethic in the classroom, on the court and when I'm training. The things that are not in my control are on God's time and I believe that my time is coming soon.

The Elite 2014 went 3-1 beating the Houston Sonics 61-32, Houston Hoops Stars 52-49, Galveston Hornets 73-30 and losing to the SE Texas Rashard Lewis Elite by 12pts. Dion went 12 for 14 from the three point line in the four games. Game one he was 6-6, game two 3-3, game three 0-2 and game four 3-3 from the three point line. This tounament was not filmed due to it being a Division I 16U tournament.
