Personal Statement

I believe in doing whatever is necessary to help my team win. I work hard to improve on the court and feel as though I can achieve anything I put my mind to.  After ACL surgery December 4, 2014, I rehabbed and was back playing in May 2015. We had a successful summer tournament season. This fall we (New Braunfels High School) finished 25-11, winning the "Best of Bay" tournament, finishing 5th in the River City Classic, and 2nd in the M.T. Rice (Waco) tournament. We made the playoffs in a very competive 6A district and beat San Antonio Churchill in the first round of the playoffs before losing in the second round to San Antonio Marshall. 

I made First Team All-District and was named to the All-Tourney team in two of our tournaments, and selected for the Hill Country All-Star game and San Antonio All-Star game, but am most proud of our team winning 25 games. I only got to play 2.5 games before my injury my Junior year and had to watch from the sideline as we won only 11 games all year.  To win 25 games this year and have a legitimate chance at making the State tournament was a great feeling.
