I am a senior in my third year of varsity at Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas. I am a leading scorer and top rebounder for our team and in our district. For the 2016-2017 year, I played/started in 33 games, led our team with points per game (15.3), rebounds per game (6.8), overall points (505), overall field goals (191), overall rebounds (226), overall blocks (60), free throws (116 at 69%) and double doubles (4). My strengths are my aggressive ability to play through contact, to finish at the rim, guard on the perimeter, rebound and make solid decisions. High school accolades include 1st team All District as a sophomore and junior, as well as rankings from GASO, Alamo City Hoops and Scouts Focus. I have had the opportunity to play center and power forward, which has helped me with rebounding, blocking and overall strength.
My SAT superscore after two attempts is 1350 (700 verbal and 650 math). My overall weighted GPA is 4.0 (or 96.5 on a 100 point scale), and I am ranked 82 out of 359.
I am involved in Link Crew at school and am a Peer Tutor. I have participated in some community service on my own, with Teens Give Back, and with the Alamo Heights High School Basketball team. I represent basketball at my high school on the 4th Quarter Leadership Team at Alamo Heights.
