John Fitchett '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Fitchett and I attend Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Virginia.  I am a 6'4", 185 pound senior. I recently surpassed the 1000 point mark for my career in my third and final year of varsity play and I finished my varsity career as one of the top three scorers in the history of LHS.  My goal is to play D1 basketball.  I'm currently being recruited by most of the D3 schools in Virginia but I hope to get looked at by some Division 1 schools. I have worked hard on my skills the last few offseasons and have really transformed as a player throughout high school. My highlight video, on my profile, features some highlights from a couple games in my junior year. I'm hoping to soon have another video available to show more of my talents since I believe I have improved greatly as a player from my Junior to Senior year.  I have played 5 years of AAU ball for a few different teams.  I had a really good 16u year and made my first contact with college coaches at that time. Having an injury riddled year last AAU season I wasn't able to meet my goals.  I plan to play more AAU this season with the Virginia Venom since I will likely be an unsigned senior.  I recently turned 18 and I would be open to attending prep school for a year to further improve my skills and play against better competition.  Thank you.  Please contact me personally at 757-254-3886.    John Fitchett
