Personal Statement
My name is Cameron J. Gregory and I am a Junior at St. Stevens St. Agnes High School in Arlington, Virginia. In my house, going to college is a given. I am looking for a college that is strong academically and has a diverse student body. At this point, the size and location of the school is not that important. I would like to attend law school. I'm now in the class of 2014 after transferring from Bishop O'Connell High School. Sometimes, change is necessary for growth. I am always trying to improve myself on and off the court. I hope to help change the culture at St. Stephens and turn it into a winning program. We won 13 games this year after only winning 3 the year before. I am a player and I am willing to do whatever it takes to help my team win. I pride myself on being a good teammate. I am coachable, a good rebounder and passer. I think I can guard anybody. I have good court vision and a high basketball IQ. I have more than doubled my scoring average from the previous year. I have been told that I have tremendous 'upside' and I will continue to work on all aspects of my game. Any program would benefit from having a hardworking, focused scholar athlete like me.
