Langston Boyd '20 Recruiting Profile

As part of the high school graduating class of 2020, I accepted an opportunity to play basketball for Elmira College Men’s Basketball program in Elmira, NY. While playing for Elmira’s MBB program 2020-2021 season, in the height of COVID-19 pandemic was an excellent opportunity, one that I will always remember. I am seeking an opportunity to continue to my college basketball career in another program.

Currently, I have four years of college eligibility.  As a student-athlete, I have maintained my college scholarship and my current GPA is 2.92. I am majoring in Business Marketing with a minor in Visual Arts. I have persevered through some tough times and know first-hand about discipline, sacrifice, and commitment to overcome obstacles to excel.

At 6’4” 235 pounds, I have defended the Forward and Center positions. I play within the system and am coachable. On offense, I can play with my back to the goal, shoot the mid-range jump shot and the 3 ball.
