Maurice Cole '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play collegiate ball when I graduate high school. I'm a good candidate for any team because I can fit into any offense and I hustle a lot. I always have a positive outlook on the game whether my team is winning or losing. I am a fun and easy person to get along with. I work hard on and off the court. Although I am young for my grade, I've always been one of the most athletic people in my school and on the basketball team. I've been playing basketball for five years now and each year I've improved tremendously. I've always been one of the best shooters on the team and I am one of the best finishers around the rim on my team. At this point in my career my focus is on improving decision making and emerging as a steady team leader.

In addition, I take my academics seriously which is reflected in my 3.6 GPA. In the classroom, I participate regularly in class discussion. Currently I am interested in studying Criminal Justice and Psychology in college.

Outside of Basketball I have also previously played Football for 5 years, Baseball for 7 and ran Track. In my free time, I volunteer as an Umpire for Little League, as well as helping out in my community when I have opportunity.
