My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play college basketball at the highest level possible. My passion for the game in every aspect has driven me to work hard and become the best player possible as my determination motivates me to keep working hard even when times get tough. I use my mental toughness and encouragement from my loved ones to keep working hard everyday. I come from a large family which has made me a unique individual who doesn't just think of himself but instead thinks of others. And this carries off onto the basketball court as I am caring towards my teammates. I am a very coachable player who makes his teammates better by motivating and encouraging them. Being a twin to the youngest sibling in my family has really made me the competitor that I am today as I always grew up wanting to win at everything and beat everyone even if they were older than me. Because of this I was accustom to playing against older players and that has really helped me out in my basketball career so far because I grew up playing on older teams and practicing with older players which allowed me to develop my basketball skills and IQ at a much younger age. I have also moved around a lot in my life as I have lived in two foreign continents, Europe and Asia. This has allowed me to experience the game being played in different ways and this has made me a very unique player who can adapt to different playing styles because of my past experiences.
Off the court I'm not one of those guys who is always on social media or who is always going out. Instead I tend to just prepare myself for the next chapter in life whether that is working on my game, doing my school work or working on my IQ or basketball knowledge. And when I'm not doing any of those things I'm doing something else with basketball whether it's watching Duke play or doing basketball quizzes or even just playing fantasy basketball almost everything I do seems to be something with basketball. I seriously don't know what I would do without basketball and that's why I'm preparing myself in every way for the next level. That's my biggest motivation for doing well in school because I want to give myself the best opportunity possible. I'm a very unselfish person who is self motivating and independent and I can thank my Dad and three older brothers who taught me to make goals and then do everything possible to reach that goal. It worked for all of my older brothers as two of them went to the USAFA and one of them got a ROTC scholarship to the University North Carolina Charlotte. So I'm just trusting the process and hoping that it will get me where I want to go. As long as I prepare myself then I've done my job and the rest is out of my hands.
