Darcy Stamper '14 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 6’2’’ combo guard from Lacrosse WA and just finished my senior year.  I averaged 22 points with a game high of 41.  I have been selected as the MVP of District 9, the All-State Team, as well as invited to play in the 2014 WIBCA/WIAA Basketball Showcase tournament in Bellevue WA.

My strengths as a point guard are that I can defend quick guards as well as find the open man offensively with my creative passing. While I can play the point, I love to score and can do so from the perimeter, midrange as well as getting to the rim. I thrive on making others around me better and believe that I am very coachable and excited to continue growing in my knowledge of the game as well as my skills. My dream is to play in college and I have worked extremely hard, both in the weight room as well as on the floor to make this dream a reality.

          Received the Coaches Award for Basketball

2013 – Junior Year

·         Varsity Basketball Letter

·         Placed 3rd at State Basketball also receiving the Sportsmanship Award

·         Varsity All - League Basketball

          Varsity Track MVP

·         1st place at state in high jump and jumped 6’6’’

·         8th place at state in long jump and jumped 20'4"

·         3.12 GPA

2014 – Senior year

I hope to be a student athlete in college with my future plan to become a psychologist or a psychiatrist.  I’m a hard worker and very determined to accomplish this goal. I look forward to playing in the WIBCA/WIAA Basketball Showcase May 3rd and 4th in Bellevue WA.
