Personal Statement
My goals are to play college basketball, I see myself playing at a high level, whether it's D3, D2 or D1. My dream is to play college basketball. I would be good for any program that wants a consistent hard worker. My attitude is what separates me from other players, I've faced much adversity through my basketball career, especially during high school. I've had 3 different coaches in 3 years and headed to my senior year, I'll be going on my 4th new coach, all at the same school. I've played in many different systems and experienced many different coaches and coaching styles. I'm very good at adapting and adjusting to different things that are thrown at me. I'm never satisfied with where I am. I'm always looking to grow and improve myself whether it's in basketball or life, I look to always better myself. I keep an open mind, listen to different perspectives and opinions and take it to account. I stay true to myself. My relentless attitude is what separates me from the average person. My willingness to keep moving along even when life throws something in my way is what makes me who I am. I give everything my all, no matter what it is, and make sure I finish the task at hand all the way through before I move on to the next. Basketball has made me into the person I am today. It has taught me to be consistent in everything I do, and be persistent as well. To never give up when things aren't in your favor. It showed me the power of confidence, and to always have an optimistic attitude, Always to believe and have faith that I will succeed. I also view myself as a leader and have high expectations for myself along with all my team mates. I realize that being a leader I have to always set a tone and bring the intensity every practice and every game. I'm an energy player, my energy and intensity pushes my teammates to be at there best and bring energy as well. I realize the importance of family and trust in a team. To trust that my teammates have my back and I have theirs.
