Personal Statement

I am a 7'0 (230lbs) junior from Snohomish, Washington. I attend and play for Glacier Peak High School; my current GPA does not reflect my academic capability. I did not take my freshman and sophomore year seriously, now in my junior year I am looking to maintain a 3.0 GPA for this year. I received a 2.667 in my first semester and I am striving to get higher than a 3.0 in my second semester to boost my GPA. I missed the first several games of my junior year (Varsity Season) as a result of me breaking my left forearm while playing in one of my last Fall Basketball games. I made a good recovery as well as a good season. I am looking to gain weight, get stronger this off season, play some additional off season basketball and have a great senior season. I am hoping to attend a larger college in an area with warmer weather as well as a good college atmosphere. However this is not a critical requirement, most of all I want to play on a team that is a competitor to its opponents. I hope to pursue a major in a digital arts career or something in that general direction.
