My name is Ben May. I graduated from Monticello High School in May 2015. I was a starter on my high school varsity basketball team for the last three years of my high school career. I was selected to participate on the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star basketball team the summer following my senior year, as well as my conference All-Star team. Basketball is my passion. In addition to playing or practicing ball as much as I can every day, I work out to condition and strenghthen my body . I am a very competitive person, always pushing myself to be the best I can. I am a 6' 3" shooting guard with speed and assertiveness. I am not afraid to shoot from any angle of distance. I am. also, a good rebounder and play under the boards when I need to. I am a very hard worker and not afraid to do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals. It has been my dream to play ball at the college level and ultimately professionally since I was in elementary school. My goal is to play ball in college while earning a degree in biochemistry. As a player, I feel my strengths include my ability to shoot from any range and finish strong at the hoop. I learn quickly and adapt my technique to skills and best practices I observe while playing competitors. I look for multiple opportunities to improve my game and technique.
