Personal Statement
Ever since I was young, I have dreamed of playing college basketball. At any chance that I have, I either have a ball in my hand, working on my skills, or am in the weight room, getting stronger. My knowledge of the game, along with my skill set can help make the players around me more successful. As a student-athlete, I look to first excel in the classroom and then work hard on the court to improve myself and my team. Also, as a three-sport athlete, I know what it takes to be responsible with my school work and my body. I eat, drink, and live healthy in order to reach my utmost potential. Every day in the summer, I wake up before 5:30 so I can either run or attend a weight training program at school. After, I go to work at the job I have during the summer. My ability to balance all of these things and succeed in the classroom, on the court, and around the community are accredit to my work ethic. This drive to play college basketball pushes me harder every day and I hope that this drive can potentially play a factor on your team.
