Brayden Peterson '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play Division 1 basketball.  To get to that level I fully understand I need to continue to grow my game on a daily, weekly and yearly basis and I will do that.  I also understand that at 6'0" I am undersized, but I am only starting to grow.  While this may have held me back in getting my name out to the recruiting circles, it didn't limit the development of my game.  By being smaller I have learned how to play quick, get shots off fast, extend my range past the 3 point line, shoot floaters, lead the team from the point guard position, set my teammates up and play with a high basketball IQ.  I believe I am a coach on the floor.  I practice every day, usually by myself, and I do not see a ceiling on my potential.  In 7th and 8th grade I made the WI All-State Team, 9th grade played JV and was the starting point guard, and in 10th grade I am playing Varsity and I am this first guard off the bench. I will be the starting PG on my summer AAU team.  I am a true point guard who values coaching and team play.  That and the fact that I am extremely committed makes me believe that I am a fit for your program.  I just won the most improved player as a sophomore on the Varsity team.
