Cody Hurtado '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to compete at the highest level possible athletically and academically. Personally, I strive to compete against the best of competition in order to challenge and improve on my abilities. What sets me aside from other student-athletes is that I have the constant will and drive to improve and to only expect nothing less but success. I am also a great teammate and treat everyone how I want to be treated, which is to be expected as a team player. Whenever possible, I offer advice and exemplify what is to be done to my team mates if they ever ask for it or are afraid to do so. Not only that, but, I am open to criticism and listen to what others have to say about what I can do to improve myself. What separates me from the other recruits is my work ethic and heart. The sport of basketball is more than a game to me, but a lifestyle that I love and strive to improve upon.
