My name is Ryan Schmit. I have played basketball since I was 8 years old and volleyball since I was a freshman in high school. I really want to continue playing college ball after high school and would also like to go to a college that will help me best succeed in the future.
I play basketball and volleyball for Appleton West High School and play club basketball for the Fox Valley Future. When I play volleyball and basketball, I always work/play my hardest no matter who I'm playing against. I try to lead by example both on the court and in the classroom, with a GPA of 3.833 I am ranked 40th in my senior class. I have always been committed to getting better at the sports I play and my attitude and dedication toward the game help me get better as well. I'm often told by others that I am unselfish both on and off the court. I want to not only make myself a better player but I love trying to make others better as well. I hope to be the best player I can be to help my volleyball and basketball teams in high school and hopefully in college as well. I am always pushing myself to not settle for less than my best so I can overcome any challenges I face.
