Josh Hunsaker '11 Recruiting Profile

I'LL BE BACK AND READY TO PLAY 2014 BALL!! I just received my mission call to Portland, Oregon (Spanish Speaking). I will be back July 2014 ready to play! I have been at Utah State University, and am committed to trying out as a walk-on for the 2014 - 2015 year.

High School:

We just completed our season where we participated in the State 4A Championship. I was named All-Conference, followed by All-State this year. It is a great honor, and one I have been working hard for this year. At 6'8", I play both the 3 and 4 positions for the Varsity Basketball team at Star Valley High School. I started Varsity my Junior year, and currently hold the record for the most blocked shots in a season for the State of Wyoming. I am left handed. I am a versatile player. I am able to skillfully penetrate the basket, but also shoot from the perimeter. I played at the Five Star invite-only for 120 Division I prospects in New York this summer. Of those 120 players, I was one of 24 chosen for the prestigious All-Star team. It is my desire to play at the highest level of competition possible and be able to help lift my team to their greatest potential!
