Guy Erickson '16 Recruiting Profile

Although I do not yet have a set goal for my college major, I do know that I have wanted to play college basketball since I was a very little kid. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my current high school experience and have been a member of two very successful basketball teams. As a freshman I was the sixth man on our schools varsity team that finished with 15-6 record and a regional tournament appearance. As a sophomore I took on the role of a starting point/shooting guard and served as a captain on our team. We also finished the regular season with a 15-6 record but advanced past regionals and to the state tournament. I have a firm belief that all sports have the power to unite people as one. I am very proud of my community, and I believe I feel more of an obligation to succeed for the logo on my jersey and the crowd in the stands than many other recruits. I have always been taught that my character reflects everything that is a part of me. If provided the oppurtunity to advance my basketball career beyond high school, I will represent the school, logo, and community with class.
