Personal Statement
For my collegiate goals for school is to graduate obviously and become a basketball, Football Coach and a Physical education teacher and maybe come back home and coach and teach. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I’m a 5’10 guard/forward, I do have a diverse set of skills, as I can handle the ball, shoot, and play down by the rim. I also have a high basketball IQ and can see the court very well. I find the same fulfillment in making assists as in making points. I am confident that I would be a great asset to your program, as I am a team player and love basketball. The difference I have from other recruits is in my character is I treat everyone with respect and I go 100% in everything I do whether its something simple or something hard I am tough mentally and physically because I play two sports Football and basketball. During my senior year of football I broke my 3rd metacarpal in my right hand during the first practice and missed my last football season but I can tell you and so can my coaches and teammates I was never late to practice and I never brought anyone down because of my misfortune but overall this made me a better teammate and leader on the court and on the sideline. I was a 1A east second team all-conference selection for football. Basketball for the 2018-2019 season was a starter on a team that took 3rd at the 2A West Regional tournament and made the State Tournament. Academically My freshman year I earned the "Distinguished scholastic achievement award" for football. Currently in my senior year I hold a 3.2 GPA. Overall I have a 2.83 GPA I was also selected to the 5 rivers all conference honorable mention in my senior season
