Addison Cochran '18 Recruiting Profile

Friends, family, coaches, and even teammates have influenced me to become the person I am today. My goal is to help everyone but also focus on my accomplishments and not just other's. I've learned that diving is not just a physical strength but also mostly mental. I have learned how to control myself in tough situations during diving, and I have also learned how to help others get their minds away from the stress on diving. I have overcome many obstacles like my ADD. People have helped me, but I cannot depend on them too much. I have learned that it takes me longer to focus and understand certain things because of this time management is very important.  I read and study daily.  I have learned I can not procrastinate to succeed. 

I always strive to bring my team together and act as an example for others. People are able to depend on me, and I do not focus on just sports.  I also want to do well in school so I can achieve my goal as a mechanical engineer.   I would like to build equipment to help others have an easier life.
