(VIEW FULL STATEMENT FOR CAREER ACCOLADES):
My name is Mitchell Brown, I am 16 years old and I live in Chelsea Michigan where I am attending Chelsea High School as a Junior. I started diving and swimming at five years old. At that point, I found immediately that diving was my passion. I love the thrill of flipping and twisting through the air. And I thrive on competing and pushing myself to be the best diver I can be. I train multiple hours a day to fine tune my skills. I compete in USA Diving with Wolverine Diving Club at the University of Michigan. I am currently also diving and swimming with Chelsea High School. I also dove and swam on the Chelsea Beach Middle School Swim and Dive team where I was also named Team Captain. I also swam and dove in the Washtenaw Interclub Swim Conference and Southern Michigan Swim League for 10 years.
My favorite diving event by far is platform. I love the adrenaline charge of diving from those heights. My favorite dives on platform are 105b and 405c both on 7m.

- ActivitiesI currently coach both diving and swimming for multiple age group levels with Chelsea Aquatic Club. And I participated in the both the LINK & WEB Crew at both Chelsea High School and Beach Middle School. LINK & WEB Leaders are chosen based on their leadership abilities, the strength of character, personal experiences, and kindness. LINK & WEB Leaders are motivators, leaders, and mentors who guide the incoming high schoolers and middle schoolers in discovering what it takes to have a successful transition. Since 2017, I have also worked part-time as a crew leader for a catering company that caters events from 50 - 300 guests . In this position, I manage crews up to 14 staff members from initial setup, food service all the way to the final tear down of high end events such as weddings, etc.
