Personal Statement

As long as I can remember, I have always had the desire and determination to play Division 1 golf. I come from a family where academics come first. I have thus far been able to succeed both athletically and academically. I have a strong inner drive to do the best in both areas. I also am very self motivated and always maintain my composure on the golf course. I get along well with others and am respectful of constructive criticism. I feel I would be a team player that would work hard without being told, do well academically, and continue to improve my game. I have never been told to go practice and have made many sacrifices in the process, for this is the sport I love. I have always dreamed of being a part of a Division 1 college/ university golf team and look forward to be given that chance.
