Personal Statement

I aspire to be the best that I can be in school, in golf, and in life. Although I am only 17 years old, I have already had experiences that have taught me valuable lessons that I have learned from. Four years ago, I became ill with a Mono-like virus that left me unable to play golf for almost a year. Since my recovery, there is not a day that goes by that I feel extreme gratitude for my health. This has impacted me to have my priorities in order and to constantly set new goals while helping encourage my peers.

I am a great candidate for your team because I am hardworking, respectful, have leadership values and I never give up! I am very dedicated to my game and I set high goals for my academics. I achieve my goals as I continue to improve my golf game and I make Principal's List every year. My education is important to me. By taking Honors and Dual Enrollment classes in high school, I will have earned 14 college credit hours by the end of this year. I hope to earn more next year. Thank you for taking the time to read my Personal Statement.
